Hello lovelies,

After a busy week at work and college a night in was on the cards last night. Pitty about the lack of sleepage! Today i went into town to meet a good friend for lunch for his birthday! Company and food were both fab ;o)

With winter fast approaching its definitely time to get the boots out! I have so many pairs its quite ridiculous and i tend to wear just the same few favourite pairs but im going to make an effort to mix it up a bit and get some different styles and colours in there!

OOTD - Plain&Simple x

Hey guys!

Back to work today after the crazy floods closed Dundrum shopping centre yesterday. Luckily we had absolutely no stock damage and flooding that was manageable to deal with. Some stores weren't so lucky. One even had the roof cave in. Scary stuff. You wouldn't think water could cause so much damage but Dublin came to a stand still.

Today was dry and the sun was shinning,you would never believe the carnage going on just 24 hours previously. My thoughts go out to the two people who lost their lives in the floods xxx

It seems rather crazy posting an outfit of the day but as they say business must resume so here is a rather boring (in my opinion) outfit of the day-

Hey all,

Just a quick little outfit of the day post! I wore this today and it kept me warm and toasty! I love this pink wool jumper so much,especially the sparkly button detail on the shoulder :) I added a pair of my fave high waisted shorts and heart pattern tights and I was good to go-

I am obsessed with these shoes! They were a steal at just 19euro,i think they look far more expensive and they got a few compliments last night. They are also super comfortable even though they may not look it! I love the back detail in this UO top. Its very simple from the front but adds a bit of detail to the back. Plus it was in the sale. Bonus!!!

River Island Sale x

Hey guys,

River Island are having a fab sale at the moment, 50% off, so on my lunch break I off course had to take a quick peek and came out with these snakeskin leggings and mustard bag.

I also bought a lovely dress which I will show you in a future post.

I could have bought a lot more but my budget would not allow it...oh to be rich...

We had a huge delivery in work today with lots of new amazing pieces I have my eye on already. I love when we get a new delivery and get to see all the new items before they hit the floor. Love love love my job!

This dress is from French Connection however I bought it at the Great Rail Sale a few weeks ago for just 20euro!!!! I admired it from afar when I saw it in store but couldn't justify spending so much money on it so I couldn't believe my luck when I snapped it up at this bargin price! LOVE it.

Had a great catch up with the girls after college yesterday although the absence of Clancy and Shel was noticed!!! Dying to see u two girls...night out soon I'm thinking :o)

Boots- A fashion event

This is the outfit I wore on Friday night to our fab friend Roisin's last night (for awhile) in Dublin! She is leaving us for OZ (jealous much?!) and im sure her presence will be very much missed!!!

This dress was a last minute purchase on my lunch break on friday and I love love love it! I had to pop on a little navy string top underneath the cream sheer part of the dress to cover my modisty lol. I wore my favourite navy ankle boots I got at a fashion event in the RDS last year and were a complete steal! I think I will wear them to death!!! 

Friday was definitely a good day all in all! I got offered a part time or full time contract with Urban Outfitters where I've been doing my work placement for college. My manager said all the feedback hes been given about me is really positive and he thinks I'm doing really well so after only 6 days there I was delighted (and very surprised) to be offered a position. Now i just have to talk it through with my course instructor and see which would be the best option,part time or full time. 

Check up in the Am,then college,then meeting up with the girls and the legend that is Clancy who I have not seen in years (!) whoop :o) Good times!

OOTD - FCUK Jumpsuit and UO event x

Hello lovelies,

I was going through my wardrobes and came across this pattern jumpsuit I got from French Connection about a year ago. I had only worn it once as I wasn't quite sure about it (and still not lol) but decided to give it another chance and wore it to work today-

I have to say it was a bad decision to be honest. Definitely one of my top fashion faux pas! I felt like I was in my pjs all day!!! I love the colours and the pattern but I think the shape is all wrong for my body...or my body's all wrong for the shape ;o)

I picked up a fab red dress in Penneys on my lunch break (I swear its dangerous working in a shopping center when you are a serious shopaholic!!!) which I will probably wear to work tomorrow. I also popped into AWEAR and got a lovely play-suit in their sale. They have some great items in at the moment so definitely worth a peek.

There is an event on in Urban Outfitters this Friday 5pm-9pm in Dundrum shopping center, 20% off EVERYTHING,live music and a drink or two on the night so check it out if you can,we have some really fab stock in right now so come have a look :o)

I think I will be putting my 40% discount to good use with the following Urban Outfitters items-

I think this Princess coat would be the best investment seen as we are coming into Winter. Its definitely more of a need than a want....yes I am trying to justify it as it would practically empty my bank balance should I choose to indulge.

I will just lust after these items for the moment,will let you know of any purchases ;o)

OOTD - A touch of leopard print x

Hey all!

Sorry for the lack of postage,between college,work,shopping and socialising I am beyond exhausted when I get home at night! I started working in Urban Outfitters Dundrum this week and omg I am loving every minute of it. It is seriously awesome :o) (Sorry I picked up 'awesome' and now cant stop saying it lol)

Everyone is so lovely and friendly and I think i am fitting in okay...I hope so anyway! I think one of my favourite parts of the job is interacting with the customers. I love meeting and greeting and also when they ask for my advise on what to wear with what. Another fabulous thing is the 40% discount....oh yesss....I have picked up a few things already including the T-shirt im wearing below-

I wore this outfit to work today,I mostly wear more colour so I thought this was a bit dark but i loved this Tee and had to have it. I think it worked pretty well with the wet look leggings,although perhaps not everyones cup of tea!

Rail Sale&Fashion course x

Hi guys!

So I attended the Great Rail Sale in the Radisson Hotel on Sunday and I have to say I was quite disappointed. It was nowhere as good as I was expecting and the turnout was rather poor in my opinion. I think this was mainly due to the bad weather on the day and the location of the event. The hotel was lovely but I had to get a taxi there as it wasnt where I thought it was and it was hard lugging around a suitcase of 30 dresses. I think a more central location would have been better and easier for shoppers to find.

I only sold 5 dresses despite lowering the price of them as the day went on and they were all either never worn or worn once. A few people commented that the dresses were fabulous but that they were all too small! Well theyre too small for me too now hence why I was trying to get rid of them LOL. Here are a few pics of the day-

Dont get me wrong there were some good points to the day,I got chatting to a personal stylist who advised me how to get into the industry and told me more about it. My lovely cousin Ciara came along to help me set up and sold the first dress while I took a break! I of course found some time to have a look at all the other rails and managed to pick up the following bargins-

I couldnt pass up these items as they were all under 20euro. I especially love the Levi denim cut offs and they were a steal! I was looking at a pair only last week for over double the price.

My second disappointment came when i checked my email this afternoon,I was due to begin a nighttime fashion course in Dublin Institute of Design this week but it has been postponed until the end of January. This is the second time they have postponed it and at the last minute too. So not impressed!!! 

On a more positive note there is lots to look forward to in the coming weeks including starting at Urban Outfitters and also attending the afters of a friends wedding (What to wear?!) !
