Hey all!

Sorry for the lack of postage,between college,work,shopping and socialising I am beyond exhausted when I get home at night! I started working in Urban Outfitters Dundrum this week and omg I am loving every minute of it. It is seriously awesome :o) (Sorry I picked up 'awesome' and now cant stop saying it lol)

Everyone is so lovely and friendly and I think i am fitting in okay...I hope so anyway! I think one of my favourite parts of the job is interacting with the customers. I love meeting and greeting and also when they ask for my advise on what to wear with what. Another fabulous thing is the 40% discount....oh yesss....I have picked up a few things already including the T-shirt im wearing below-

I wore this outfit to work today,I mostly wear more colour so I thought this was a bit dark but i loved this Tee and had to have it. I think it worked pretty well with the wet look leggings,although perhaps not everyones cup of tea!

Rail Sale&Fashion course x

Hi guys!

So I attended the Great Rail Sale in the Radisson Hotel on Sunday and I have to say I was quite disappointed. It was nowhere as good as I was expecting and the turnout was rather poor in my opinion. I think this was mainly due to the bad weather on the day and the location of the event. The hotel was lovely but I had to get a taxi there as it wasnt where I thought it was and it was hard lugging around a suitcase of 30 dresses. I think a more central location would have been better and easier for shoppers to find.

I only sold 5 dresses despite lowering the price of them as the day went on and they were all either never worn or worn once. A few people commented that the dresses were fabulous but that they were all too small! Well theyre too small for me too now hence why I was trying to get rid of them LOL. Here are a few pics of the day-

Dont get me wrong there were some good points to the day,I got chatting to a personal stylist who advised me how to get into the industry and told me more about it. My lovely cousin Ciara came along to help me set up and sold the first dress while I took a break! I of course found some time to have a look at all the other rails and managed to pick up the following bargins-

I couldnt pass up these items as they were all under 20euro. I especially love the Levi denim cut offs and they were a steal! I was looking at a pair only last week for over double the price.

My second disappointment came when i checked my email this afternoon,I was due to begin a nighttime fashion course in Dublin Institute of Design this week but it has been postponed until the end of January. This is the second time they have postponed it and at the last minute too. So not impressed!!! 

On a more positive note there is lots to look forward to in the coming weeks including starting at Urban Outfitters and also attending the afters of a friends wedding (What to wear?!) !

The Great Rail Sale-THIS SUNDAY!

This Sunday the 25th of September the GREAT RAIL SALE takes place in the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel (3 minutes walk from Stephens Green) and is going to be a brilliant fashion event for all shopaholics and fashion addicts! Thanks to a fellow blogger&friend The Make Up Fairy,I now have a rail where I will be selling never worn or barely worn clothes. Mostly highstreet (Everything from TOPSHOP to FRENCH CONNECTION) dresses and a few pairs of jeans (sizes ranging from uk 4 to uk 8) and shoes (sizes 3 and 4). Its sure to be a great day out so why not join us. Here is all the info you need to know-

Some people would look at Carries outfits and think Oh.Dear.God. But I have to admit to loving her quirky unique style. Granted there is no way I could pull it off but I always love watching Sex in the City and seeing her style shine again and again.

I personally wear what i feel most comfortable in and what i think suits me as then i feel more confidant in myself. I think the most important thing is to have fun with clothes and wear what makes YOU feel good not what you think you SHOULD wear. 

Its ok not to follow 'trends' or wear what everyone else is wearing. Different can be good.

Firstly please excuse the state of my hair....thank god im getting to the hairdressers tomorrow to get it sorted asap. Fringe trimmed,cut shorter and highlights. Damn blonde hair is such an expensive time consuming investment lol.

Oh i got my student card today...we all know what that means- DISCOUNTS yippeee. As you can imagine i will be getting as much use out of this as i possibly can. Rude not to.

College was non eventful today and not very productive which actually suited me fine as i was seriously exhausted after another night of insomnia. I even caved in and took a dalmane and still wide awake up doing things all night! I think im going to double the dose tonight i am desperate and it makes the days so much longer and more difficult when you havent even had an hours sleep.

Lots of things to look forward to in the coming days/week but for now im off to watch the soaps (Yes very rock and roll).

I love all of the above dresses on Emma although she seems to really like that colour shade! I half wonder is she too pale for the nude tones? Well it doesnt really matter because she still looks amazing...classy and elegant.

Another shorts and tights combo! Strangely enough its an outfit i feel very comfortable in! The shorts are an old favourite. They're high-waisted which I love in shorts and skirts but high-waisted jeans? I just cant pull them off! I tried on a pair today in River Island and OMG they were pure awful on me,probably because i have rather big hips. I even bought a pair awhile ago but promptly returned them to the store the following week.

I am loving my tights right now and cant resist stocking up on different colours/patterns on every shopping trip. Luckily they are not an expensive addiction so i convince myself its okay!!!

I was having a peek in Zara when i came across this coat-

It is sooo soft and would keep you nice and toasty in the winter, the only thing is i wouldn't normally go anywhere near animal print...it always reminds me of Eastenders Pat Butcher :o) but i have to admitt i was drawn to it....I'm thinking this is like the high-waisted jeans and i just couldn't pull it off no matter how awesome they look when I see them on other people...

What do you think? On style? Or more Pat Butcher? ;o)

Today was the start of another good week at college. I didn't get a single minute of sleep last night so was absolutely exhausted today but luckily it was a very easy going day...I went to relaxation,brain gym and yoga! How cool is my college? :o) I'm up to date on all my work so that's why i chose to go to these classes. Tomorrow our instructor wont be in so we get to work from home...eh....so ill be having a nice catch up on some sleepage and then going into town after for a Starbucks me thinks :o) and if I'm really good i will take my notes with me ;o) Naughty Aoifs!

On the 28th i start work in Urban Oufitters....YEOOOOW :o) And ALSO start my fashion course in image and styling that evening :o) Sooo excited for that day to come :o) Hopefully between the two i will learn lots and share my wisdom with YOU (one of my 12 followers? LOL ah well at least someone reads it *thank u*).

I wore this outfit to college on Friday,its not one of my favourites to be honest. I like the trousers and the printed jacket but maybe not together? Im not sure...Let me know what u think! I got the jacket in River Island last year and had never worn it up until Friday!!! Its very light so not very practical for this chilly weather!!!

I was having a very boring and lazy Sunday so I decided I would take a little trip over to my fave shopping centre Dundrum for a PEEK in the shops! I got fab little ankle boots in Penneys for just 15euro which I will show off at some stage this week no doubt! I also got a not very Aoifs-like-extremely-casual-outfit that I think ill wear to college tomorrow...Im going to check out the college gym...theres a huge clue for u LOL.

Yes i am a Penneys (PRIMARK for those of u in the UK!) whore at the moment. You really cant go far wrong especially for basics and accessories. The only real downfall is as youre walking down Grafton street in a Penneys key piece you will probably bump into someone wearing the exact same thing LOL. Every girls nightmare.

I absolutely adore this urban outfitters skirt. I picked it up (along with quite a few other items) in the sale the other day reduced to just 12euro. I will show you everything I got in a clothes haul soon!!!

Siopaella is AWESOME x

Hey lovelies,

You might remember awhile back i posted about Siopaella in Temple Bar where i brought some of my barely worn clothes and shoes that were just taking up valuable wardrobe space. Basically they sell your items at half their retail price and you get half of that. I only brought in about 10 items and 6 have sold so far which made me 75euro. Its not much when you compare it to what i originally spent buying these items but I was never going to wear them so its better than them sitting at the back of my overflowing wardrobe. I am going in again with some more clothes to sell as soon as i get a chance.

While i was in Siopaella checking out my account i spotted this amazing red dress in perfect condition from Topshop in my size and it was reduced to just 20euro-

I LOVE it! Especially the back detail.  It is super cute,fits like a dream and i think it would look awesome on its own with a pair of killer heels and some red lippy for a night out on the town :o)

When youre next in town you should totally check out Siopaella (9 Crow street,Temple Bar) for highstreet,vintage and designer finds at a fraction of the cost.
