OOTD - Time for boots x

Hello lovelies,

After a busy week at work and college a night in was on the cards last night. Pitty about the lack of sleepage! Today i went into town to meet a good friend for lunch for his birthday! Company and food were both fab ;o)

With winter fast approaching its definitely time to get the boots out! I have so many pairs its quite ridiculous and i tend to wear just the same few favourite pairs but im going to make an effort to mix it up a bit and get some different styles and colours in there!

OOTD - Plain&Simple x

Hey guys!

Back to work today after the crazy floods closed Dundrum shopping centre yesterday. Luckily we had absolutely no stock damage and flooding that was manageable to deal with. Some stores weren't so lucky. One even had the roof cave in. Scary stuff. You wouldn't think water could cause so much damage but Dublin came to a stand still.

Today was dry and the sun was shinning,you would never believe the carnage going on just 24 hours previously. My thoughts go out to the two people who lost their lives in the floods xxx

It seems rather crazy posting an outfit of the day but as they say business must resume so here is a rather boring (in my opinion) outfit of the day-

Just a quick little outfit of the day post! I wore this today and it kept me warm and toasty! I love this pink wool jumper so much,especially the sparkly button detail on the shoulder :) I added a pair of my fave high waisted shorts and heart pattern tights and I was good to go-

OOTD - A new obsession x

I am obsessed with tights right now. Coloured tights. Pattern tights. Plain tights. All tights. LOL. Well it is definitely the weather for them. In this outfit i layered two pairs,wearing the wine lacy ones over a plain black pair. Im rapidly building quite a collection so watch out for more funky tights in future posts!

Ok back to watching rubbish tv and eating jelly babies. Ah. I like being lazy sometimes.

OOTD - FCUK Jumpsuit and UO event x

Hello lovelies,

I was going through my wardrobes and came across this pattern jumpsuit I got from French Connection about a year ago. I had only worn it once as I wasn't quite sure about it (and still not lol) but decided to give it another chance and wore it to work today-

I have to say it was a bad decision to be honest. Definitely one of my top fashion faux pas! I felt like I was in my pjs all day!!! I love the colours and the pattern but I think the shape is all wrong for my body...or my body's all wrong for the shape ;o)

I picked up a fab red dress in Penneys on my lunch break (I swear its dangerous working in a shopping center when you are a serious shopaholic!!!) which I will probably wear to work tomorrow. I also popped into AWEAR and got a lovely play-suit in their sale. They have some great items in at the moment so definitely worth a peek.

There is an event on in Urban Outfitters this Friday 5pm-9pm in Dundrum shopping center, 20% off EVERYTHING,live music and a drink or two on the night so check it out if you can,we have some really fab stock in right now so come have a look :o)

OOTD - A touch of leopard print x

Hey all!

Sorry for the lack of postage,between college,work,shopping and socialising I am beyond exhausted when I get home at night! I started working in Urban Outfitters Dundrum this week and omg I am loving every minute of it. It is seriously awesome :o) (Sorry I picked up 'awesome' and now cant stop saying it lol)

Everyone is so lovely and friendly and I think i am fitting in okay...I hope so anyway! I think one of my favourite parts of the job is interacting with the customers. I love meeting and greeting and also when they ask for my advise on what to wear with what. Another fabulous thing is the 40% discount....oh yesss....I have picked up a few things already including the T-shirt im wearing below-

I wore this outfit to work today,I mostly wear more colour so I thought this was a bit dark but i loved this Tee and had to have it. I think it worked pretty well with the wet look leggings,although perhaps not everyones cup of tea!

Firstly please excuse the state of my hair....thank god im getting to the hairdressers tomorrow to get it sorted asap. Fringe trimmed,cut shorter and highlights. Damn blonde hair is such an expensive time consuming investment lol.

Oh i got my student card today...we all know what that means- DISCOUNTS yippeee. As you can imagine i will be getting as much use out of this as i possibly can. Rude not to.

College was non eventful today and not very productive which actually suited me fine as i was seriously exhausted after another night of insomnia. I even caved in and took a dalmane and still wide awake up doing things all night! I think im going to double the dose tonight i am desperate and it makes the days so much longer and more difficult when you havent even had an hours sleep.

Lots of things to look forward to in the coming days/week but for now im off to watch the soaps (Yes very rock and roll).

Another shorts and tights combo! Strangely enough its an outfit i feel very comfortable in! The shorts are an old favourite. They're high-waisted which I love in shorts and skirts but high-waisted jeans? I just cant pull them off! I tried on a pair today in River Island and OMG they were pure awful on me,probably because i have rather big hips. I even bought a pair awhile ago but promptly returned them to the store the following week.

I am loving my tights right now and cant resist stocking up on different colours/patterns on every shopping trip. Luckily they are not an expensive addiction so i convince myself its okay!!!

I was having a peek in Zara when i came across this coat-

It is sooo soft and would keep you nice and toasty in the winter, the only thing is i wouldn't normally go anywhere near animal print...it always reminds me of Eastenders Pat Butcher :o) but i have to admitt i was drawn to it....I'm thinking this is like the high-waisted jeans and i just couldn't pull it off no matter how awesome they look when I see them on other people...

What do you think? On style? Or more Pat Butcher? ;o)

Today was the start of another good week at college. I didn't get a single minute of sleep last night so was absolutely exhausted today but luckily it was a very easy going day...I went to relaxation,brain gym and yoga! How cool is my college? :o) I'm up to date on all my work so that's why i chose to go to these classes. Tomorrow our instructor wont be in so we get to work from home...eh....so ill be having a nice catch up on some sleepage and then going into town after for a Starbucks me thinks :o) and if I'm really good i will take my notes with me ;o) Naughty Aoifs!

On the 28th i start work in Urban Oufitters....YEOOOOW :o) And ALSO start my fashion course in image and styling that evening :o) Sooo excited for that day to come :o) Hopefully between the two i will learn lots and share my wisdom with YOU (one of my 12 followers? LOL ah well at least someone reads it *thank u*).

I wore this outfit to college on Friday,its not one of my favourites to be honest. I like the trousers and the printed jacket but maybe not together? Im not sure...Let me know what u think! I got the jacket in River Island last year and had never worn it up until Friday!!! Its very light so not very practical for this chilly weather!!!

I was having a very boring and lazy Sunday so I decided I would take a little trip over to my fave shopping centre Dundrum for a PEEK in the shops! I got fab little ankle boots in Penneys for just 15euro which I will show off at some stage this week no doubt! I also got a not very Aoifs-like-extremely-casual-outfit that I think ill wear to college tomorrow...Im going to check out the college gym...theres a huge clue for u LOL.

Yes i am a Penneys (PRIMARK for those of u in the UK!) whore at the moment. You really cant go far wrong especially for basics and accessories. The only real downfall is as youre walking down Grafton street in a Penneys key piece you will probably bump into someone wearing the exact same thing LOL. Every girls nightmare.

I absolutely adore this urban outfitters skirt. I picked it up (along with quite a few other items) in the sale the other day reduced to just 12euro. I will show you everything I got in a clothes haul soon!!!

Urban Outfitters and an OOTD x

Hey guys!

Cant believe I haven't had a minute to update here,its been another busy week and any spare moments are spent shopping/indulging in Starbucks/sleeping LOL.

College is going great,really settled in now and have made lots of new friends. I had until the 18th of October as a deadline to find my work placement and you wont bloody believe it but I got my first choice which is Urban Outfitters!!! I am beyond delighted! I absolutely love their store and am so excited to start on Wednesday week. They are going to fully train me and also let me work with their visual merchandiser :o) HAPPY DAYS!!! So i will be in college Monday&Tuesday and working in Urban Outfitters Wednesday,Thursday and Friday!

I have a few OOTDs from this past week and here is one. Im not quite sure about the trousers...do they look a little like pj bottoms? Hmmm...

Dublin Fashion Festival 2011 x

Hey lovelies.

So the Fashion Festival hit Dublin from the 8th til the 11th and yesterday i popped in to see what was going on with my cousins. We first went to a catwalk show in the fashion HQ on Dawson Street. I have to admitt i was a little disappointed in the outfts on display,there was very little that stood out for me apart from one of the male models LOL. Here is a sample of some of the fashion on show-

Next we went to Grafton Street where we stopped at a MAYBELLINE booth and one of my cousins got her make up done free. The end result she looked even more beautiful-

Outside Stephens green we were approached to strut our stuff and pose to win a free mascara each. After doing so and feeling rather silly i doubt any of us would make a model lol.
