Hey guys!
If you know me,you know i have way too many clothes,bags and shoes (although in my personal opinion there is never enough lol) so i had a big clear out awhile go and managed to fill 12 big black bags from my bursting wardrobes. When i have had clearouts before i have always donated it to charity but with the recession and being broke i thought maybe i could make a little bit of cash.
I was wandering around Temple Bar when i came across a lovely little shop Siopaella-recycling and restyling. I talked to the owner of the shop and discovered i could bring in up to 20 items (must be in good condition or barely worn) and when they sell them i will get 50% of the sale price. So today i got together all my shoes and boots i no longer want or have never been worn and left them into Siopaella. They said to come back in about three weeks and they would go through what has been sold and what is still for sale and give me my 50% of course. Im delighted and plan to bring in another 20 items when possible.
The day was pretty overcast but quite warm so i just went for this cotton day dress and my fave flats-

I think Asos do something similar where its a bit like ebay so you can sell your stuff but you can set a price(not 100% it is asos)but it could be worth looking in to. Ebay can be good too-its just depressing if things dont sell for much sometimes(but then i think of some of the bargains I've got off there so swings and rounderbouts)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info hun,i wonder is it ASOS...ill have to do some research! Would u believe ive never used ebay to buy or sell! It seems like so much trouble lol! And i think u need a paypal account and then of course theres p&p! Mostly stayed away from it so far as i think i could totally get addicted haha! There is another shop in town that is like a swap shop and also sells ur clothes for u,it just doesnt open on a monday so il check it out during the week! Thanks again lovely,hope ur well :o) x
